Περίληψη: | This research draws attention to the views of currently enrolled students in Greek Theological Faculties about the New Curriculum for Religious Education. The study is based on an anonymous Questionnaire and takes into account the cultural, religious and ideological background of each respondent, aiming in collecting theological and pedagogical views on the Subject of Religious Education in the Greek Secondary Education System. A set of Multivariable Data Analysis methods was utilized for the study of the emerged data set. The research led to the following main conclusions: For those of the respondents believing they are closely related to the Church life, a rather critical attitude towards the New Curriculum of the Religious school Subject has been expressed. On the other hand, students who have declared themselves at a distance from the devotional life and doctrinal teaching of the Church find the New Curriculum interesting, compared to the former ones, on the ground that knowledge of all religions should be the main purpose and content of this subject. |
